Painting.

My greatest inspiration is the work of Francis Matthews. His treatment of light has encouraged me to take new approaches to painting and look at colour in a new way.

I use oil paint, as I enjoy the longevity it introduces to the painting process as well as the potential for layering and blending. Furthermore, it adheres to a variety of surfaces, allowing for the creation of art on interesting and unique surfaces.

When painting, I focus mainly on light and colour, as well as the human form.
