Lesson Plans.

I aim to use my lesson plan as a tool to introduce structure into my lessons, to ensure that time is used efficiently for effective learning and to assess the most suitable learning activities for a lesson to build the students skill sets and engage them in their learning.

The below lesson was structured for a Transition year group who I would teach for one week for one double class. It aimed to introduce the group to the craft of create Japanese Notans.

This lesson plan was a part of and eight week Unit of Learning completed with first years to introduce them to art elements and principles. Each week students approached new art element, observed their use and employed them in a drawing. This week looked at composition and texture.
