The below Unit of Learning endeavoured to introduce first year students to art terminology, techniques and art elements and build their experience working with a variety of medias.
The below Unit of Learning aimed to encourage students to explore how they relate colour to emotion and approach abstraction through the realm of memory and nostalgia.
The following Unit of Learning was designed to allow students to begin to question what they qualify as art, to consider art elements relating to sculpture and to create artwork from "readymades."
